In addition to payment methods, you can configure discounts as part of your store’s additional settings and the Mercado Pago plugin.

1. In your store admin, go to Settings > Payment methods.
2. Find Mercado Pago in the payment methods list.
3. In the payment methods list, find the Mercado Pago plugin and click Edit settings to define the settings below:

• Checkout API: these optional settings let you set specific discounts for different payment methods with Checkout API. Enter the discount percentage for customers who choose to pay with:

  • Credit card.
  • Debit card.
  • Cash payment networks.

• External checkout (Checkout Pro): you can set a global percentage discount for customers who choose Checkout Pro. Enter the percentage to deduct from the total purchase amount.

After setting the discounts, click Save changes to save your settings. The discounts you set will apply according to each checkout’s rules in your store on Tiendanube.
