How to migrate from Gateway
If you process your payments through the Gateway modality, you must migrate to the payment processing solution supported by Mercado Pago. In this guide we will tell you how to migrate to the Aggregator or aggregator model, a processing mode where Mercado Pago merchant codes are used to collect payments.
Before you begin, keep the following points in mind:
- Regardless of the product and/or platform used, you must contact your commercial advisor to define the means of payment, promotions and financing that you will need to have configured to include Aggregator in your integration (if you do not have a commercial advisor, send an email to nuevosypromociones@mercadopago.com).
- Unlike Gateway, you will not have to configure the merchant codes and payment methods, since with Aggregator you will start using those of Mercado Pago.
Depending on the Checkout you have integrated and the platform used on your website, the change to be made in the integration will be different. In this guide we will tell you how to migrate depending on the product you use.
