\# Manual installation To install the plugin manually in WordPress, follow these steps: 1\. Download the .zip file through the \[releases page\](https://github.com/mercadopago/cart-woocommerce/releases) of our repository. 2\. Once downloaded, rename the .zip file to \*\*woocommerce-mercadopago\*\*. > NOTE > > Important > > Do not unzip the .zip file before uploading it to WordPress. For the plugin to install successfully, you must upload the file in the original format. 3\. Log in to your \[WordPress\](https://wordpress.com/) account and go to the dashboard. Click \*\*Plugins > Add New\*\*. 4\. Under “Add plugins”, click the \*\*Upload plugin\*\* button. 5\. Click the \*\*Choose File\*\* button and select the .zip file you downloaded and renamed. 6\. Click \*\*Install Now\*\*. 7\. When the installation is complete, click the \*\*Activate plugin\*\* button. Completing these steps will install and activate the Mercado Pago payments plugin for WooCommerce in your store.
